Welcome to our Adventures Section. We have created some great packages and listed some of the other exciting and interesting activities that help make Nanaimo a great marine adventure centre. There are many choices here to fit all lifestyles, so have a look around and enjoy all that the Harbour City and beautiful Vancouver Island have to offer!

Our West Coast Explorer Package is our most popular package and is designed for those guests that want to include Long Beach, Ucluelet, Tofino and the West Coast in their holiday plans but are on a tight schedule or want to avoid the very high accommodation costs of Tofino, Long Beach and Ucluelet!

Thousands of divers & snorkelers use The Buccaneer Inn as their base for exploring the underwater marvels of B.C.'s Underwater Playground. Jacques Cousteau has said that the waters of our area are the best temperate water diving in the world and second only to the Red Sea! Check out our great new dive site!

Vancouver Island is one of the best golf destinations I can think of. There are over 19 golf courses within 45 minutes of Nanaimo and the variety of courses is outstanding. You might want to contact the Nanaimo Golf & Country Club, located 3 minutes from The Buccaneer! Or try Fairwinds in Nanoose, just 30 minutes from The Buccaneer!
