The HMCS Cape Breton was sunk in Nanaimo on October 20, 2001! The Cape Breton is the World's Largest Diver-Prepared Artificial Reef! She sank in 3 minutes and 37 seconds and sit perfectly upright with a bottom depth of 142 feet and a top of 35 feet. The RivTow Lion, a 147' foot North Sea Tug, will be placed just across the Channel from The Buccaneer in the fall of 2002!
